ENERGY CONSERVATION ENGINEER-

<p>LOCATION: Portland, OR

<p>JOB DESCRIPTION-

<br>Participate on a team of individuals who are responsible for delivering

bottom line energy cost reductions to our clients. Our clients ENGINEERING

responsibilities include energy audits of large commercial, institutional

facilities, and industrial manufacturing client sites, including HVAC,

motors, EMS, production equipment, and central plants. Candidate must be

capable of performing detailed engineering analyses to evaluate energy

efficiency opportunities. This includes identifying, justifying, developing

conceptual designs and verifying cost reduction opportunities. Other duties

include preparation of budgetary cost estimates, and preparation of technical

reports.

<p>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE-

<br>Construction support, system commissioning and metering and verification,

and project management.

<p>Other duties include coordinating with architects, contractors, &

utility vendors, preparation of technical specifications and site observations

<p>QUALIFICATIONS-

<br>Minimum qualifications include a BSME, BSEE, or related degree, and

a strong interest in energy analysis and consulting. Proficiency with MS

Office software is required.  Other desirable qualifications include

experience with measurement and verification of energy efficiency projects,

with minimum 3 yrs. exp. in DOE-2 and Trace building energy simulation

modeling, 4-10 yrs. exp. in the design/construction in mechanical, electrical

or architectural disciplines., cost estimating experience, and hands-on

experience with mechanical system installation and operation.  PE

Preferred.

<p>Successful candidate must possess good organizational skills, be enthusiastic,

responsible, committed and willing to travel. The position requires an

individual who is self-directed with excellent communication skills and

a willingness to work in a team-based environment.
