COLLABORATIVE DECISION-SUPPORT SYSTEMS

A one-day focus symposium to discuss recent developments in
decision-support systems that support human decision makers in complex
problem situations. Such situations are typically found in environmental
design, transportation planning and control, facilities management,
military mission planning and execution, disaster relief operations,
investment management, and manufacturing operations. Topics of
interest
include, but are not limited to: User-computer collaboration
and
partnership; Coordination of computer-based agents; Knowledge
representation; Decentralized decision making; Conflict identification
and
resolution; Design and implementation of integrated systems; Experience
with in-use applications.

This focus symposium is being conducted under the auspices of
InterSymp-2000, the 12th International Conference on Systems Research,
Informatics and Cybernetics
(July 31-August 4, 2000) Markgraf-Ludwig Gymnasium, Baden-Baden, Germany.
