Hello,

The lexicon keeps popping up

https://www.ashrae.org/technical-resources/authoring-tools/terminology

Bigger and even better! This gives numerous concise explanations on a range
of items. It is also helpful for non US-based English speakers to understand
some of the terminology when it comes to LEED. It’s not energy model
focused, but can be helpful.

There are many things that are implicitly understood by US-based modellers
that can wrong foot the unwary. For example, I was naïve to the fact that
the word “system” related typically to airside components, or the expression
“common pipe” translated to “low loss header” or “decoupler”.

Cheers/ Chris

Gentlemen and ladies,

It appears that, after a period of absence, the ASHRAE terminology website
(AKA Lexicon) has returned and is available at the following location:
https://xp20.ashrae.org/terminology/

Please enjoy its sumptuous exposition of the language of HVAC!

Kind regards

Chris
