Hello,
I wanted to reshare this, as it bounced back before my email was accepted.
Best,

Subject: LEED MEPC Question
Hello,
I recently reached out to LEED/GBCI about an MEPC question, and they suggested I inquire with you.
My question is as follows,
A few colleagues and I are working on the energy modeling and reporting for a project, and are curious about the expected or typical workload associated with these tasks, if any guidance exists (specifically for the minimum energy performance prereq/credit MEPC table).
It is our understanding that it's recommended to start working on the calculator early in the design process to ensure alignment with ASHRAE guidelines. We've followed this approach and found that it was helpful for organizing many of the initial inputs (e.g. schedules). As expected, the bulk of our time has been focused on the HVAC tabs, particularly the Air-Side HVAC section. We’re taking advantage of the “similar systems” option but due to the project size and variety of systems, we’re dealing with dozens of system inputs between the Baseline and Proposed models.
I am curious if there are any estimates people can provide for the time they spent working on their projects or if anyone has tips and suggestions! I am especially curious how large project (e.g. One World Trade Center) went about these tables.
I searched in the archives and didn't see anything, but if this isn't the proper place for such questions, thank you for the time!
Best,
