Hello all,
IBPSA-USA <https://www.ibpsa.us/resources/request-for-qualifications/>
currently has active Request for Qualifications (RFQs)
<https://www.ibpsa.us/resources/request-for-qualifications/> for upcoming
opportunities this year. The project topics range from certification, to
diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), to building energy modeling (BEM)
training.

   1.
*Certification Framework - Due May 5, 2023 *
      1. The IBPSA-USA Certification Committee seeks to evaluate whether
      building energy modeling (BEM) use cases such as code compliance and
      above-code analysis would benefit from formalized certification and/or
      accreditation programs for software tools, energy modelers, training
      providers, and/or energy model reviewers.
      2. Anticipated budget: $20,000
   2. *Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Training Resources - Due May
   15, 2023*
      1. The IBPSA-USA DEI Strategic Plan encompasses four objectives:
      Training, Safe Space/Affinity, Industry advocate/Networking, and Internal
      operations/IBPSA Committees. This project will focus on training
activities
      to provide a foundation to work more directly on the other objectives in
      the future. It will implement training that focuses on creating awareness
      and providing tangible actions individuals or organizations can take to
      address social inequity.
      2. Anticipated budget: $15,000
   3. *BEM Training Workshop - Due May 15, 2023*
      1. This project is implementing a major overhaul of the Building
      Energy Modeling Training Workshop, a 6-hour training course on BEM
      fundamentals and current best practices. Originally developed by RMI in
      2010 under contract with IBPSA-USA, it has been updated piecemeal in the
      years since. With about ten rotating instructors, the training has been
      presented dozens of times to more than 1,000 attendees, most often in
      partnership with the ASHRAE Learning Institute
