[Bldg-sim] New public release of eQUEST is available

 Hey Bill:
Biggest hangup for me in DOE-2.3 before was the inability to model VRF AND domestic hot water in the same run. Has that been resolved? Many of my buildings now have VRF and it has been a pain to model with air source heat pumps.

An updated public release version of eQUEST is available for (free) download atdoe2.com. eQUEST v3.65 build 7175 is a more refined version of the beta build 7174.
 
This release includes options to run the familiar DOE-2.2 simulation engine or DOE-2.3.
 
The DOE-2.3 engine includes these improvements relative to DOE-2.2:
    
   - Improved design sizing
   - Dedicated outside air systems (DOAS)
   - Variable refrigerant flow (VRF)
   - Hybrid ground-loop systems
   - Data center enhancements
   - Series chillers, boilers, towers
   - Water side economizer improvements
   - Underfloor air systems (UFAD)
   - And more!
 
Give it a try – it gets my vote!
