Dear Design Builder Users,

I have a few queries regarding modelling in Design Builder-

1. Is there by any chance an alternative to the VRF system type in a older
version of Design Builder. I do not have the newer version of Design
Builder and have been using an older version ie 3.2. The project that i
need to model is for climate zone 3 as per ASHRAE 90.1.2010 and have
selected the System type 4 ie PSZ-HP for the base case. However i want to
model the design case with the actual VRF system or an alternative. Is
there a way i can use an existing system and change only its COP value as
per my design case?

2. How do i model the additional lighting load that is calculated for my
design as per ASHRAE 90.1 separately or does it have to be input in the
regular lighting tab.

3. The project has not specified the building envelope material
specifications like walls, roof etc since this is a Retail Interior V4
project. So construction of the project is not new and is 100% existing.
However for envelope modelling purpose i have selected the standard base
case values for new construction for both the base and design case. Is this
right?

Inputs appreciated on the above points.

TIA.

Namrata
