Hi   Christopher,

Hope you would be doing well. With regards to your query about the geometry
in IDA ICE, Its not great like E-quest or sketch up or any 3D-
visualization in the software. However it has its capabilities in modeling
Controls or Demand response in the buildings. MOBO is the new tool for
multi- objective building performance , This

article on the same which is from Aalto university.

It depends for what purpose you want to use the available tools in the
market.  Other tools are free open source, and more user friendly if you
compare with IDA ICE. I have used IDA ICE long back in 2013 so i am sure
there have been some developments in that software.
