[Bldg-sim] Calculating evaporation rates for a waterfall and fountain

Can anyone point me to where I can find a reasonable equation to calculate the evaporation rates from a waterfall and fountain. Is it possible to produce a good heat rejection estimate?

We have a project where we are looking at incorporating landscape features into the heat rejection strategy and I'm trying to estimate how large this needs to be (yes - I'm aware that its going to be enormous - I'm just trying to find out how enormous :)).
