Up to $1,000 in Scholarship Funds are Available to Cover the Costs of
Attending SimBuild2016 in Salt Lake City

*Application deadline is July 1, 2016.*

IBPSA-USA is pleased to offer up to 10 scholarships for students and young
professionals to attend the ASHRAE and IBPSA-USA SimBuild 2016 Conference
in Salt Lake City, UT on August 10-12, 2016. Funding is provided by the U.S
Department of Energy. Find conference information at the ASHRAE website

*Eligibility*

   -

   Recipients must be either
   -

      a student at a university in the USA during the spring term 2016, or
      -

      a practicing professional in the energy modeling field, who has
      graduated from a USA university in 2013 or later.

*What’s Covered - Up to $1,000 can be reimbursed for the costs outlined
below only:*

   -

   Conference registration.
   -

   Shared hotel room costs for the duration of the conference. Recipients
   will share rooms.
   -

   Travel allowance for airfare and ground transportation to the conference.

   You will be asked to provide:
   -

      Title of your conference presentation or paper (if applicable)
      -

      A CV or resume, and a letter (up to 1 page) describing your
      background and motivation for attending the conference
      -

      Contact information for a faculty sponsor or employer

*How Applications Will Be Evaluated*

   -

   Students will receive priority
   -

   Applicants presenting at the conference will receive priority
   -

   Compelling letters will receive priority
   -

   Earlier application submissions will receive priority
   -

   Faculty sponsors or employers may be contacted to confirm eligibility

*What Happens if You Receive an Award*

   -

   Reimbursements will be made after the conference following submission of
   an expense claim form (available here
   <http://www.dropbox.com/s/buedm86w86prcda/SimbBuild16_IBPSA-USA_Travel_Award_Claim.xlsx?dl=0>).
   Receipts are required. Advance payment will be considered in cases of
   hardship.

   Reimbursements will be in the form of a check in US dollars.
