* Matt Rash, P.E. Senior Mechanical Engineer with Mitsubishi, a key player in the VRF equipment market, will provide an overview of the latest technology and explain how the equipment can be used to provide a cost-effective and energy-efficient means of conditioning buildings.
* Dave Cocking, Director at DesignBuilder will show how EnergyPlus' powerful VRF features can be modelled using the DesignBuilder v4.5 graphical user interface.
* Jim Dirkes, CEO at Building Performance Team will provide the consultant/modeller perspective highlighting some important design and modelling considerations, such as how to design for effective heat recovery and when it might be appropriate to use simplified single curve options to speed up the modelling process.
