[Bldg-sim] Adiabatic Floor

Hi Sunayana,
It sounds like you're using eQuest, but please clarify if not:
For a three-shell, three-story building, I would suggest an adiabatic
floor type for the 2nd and 3rd floor shells while in the DD wizards.
Any other selection for a distinct shell will result in floor perimeter
loads appropriate to a slab-on-grade or else a floor exposed to exterior
conditions, neither of which sounds like an intended feature of your
building.
Regards,
~Nick

Subject: [Bldg-sim] Adiabatic Floor
Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding adiabatic floor. I am working on energy
modeling for a 3 storey building, in which each storey was created as a
separate shell by selecting adiabatic roof type for level 1 and level 2.
In the model, I also have a plenum space to serve the below zones.
Please advice if I need to change floor type from adiabatic to standard
in detail edit mode.
Thanks in advance.
