The technique for importing files from Revit to eQUEST is outlined on
Green Building Studio's. website
(http://www.greenbuildingstudio.com/gbsinc/index.aspx). They offer a
free trial of their on-line software which takes a gbXML file from Revit
Architecture or MEP and converts it to a usable inp file. In my
experience with it so far, it is more useful early on when you most
likely have a very simple model. Complex models (an architect's CD
model for example) with lots of overhangs, shading features and other
extraneous details seem to give it problems. The potential is very
exciting though.

Subject: [Bldg-sim] Revit and eQuest
Hello All,
I apologize if this question has been address before as I had hard time
finding the thread from the archive.
Can some one describe the step by step process of using revit file in
eQuest?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
