seems like it would be considered "on-site" renewable per exception
G2.4.

Subject: [Bldg-sim] Trace and ASHRAE 90.1

The LEED Credit for Energy Efficiency is a challenge using Trace and
most likely another energy simulation software. The savings is based on
$ and not energy or KW or BTUH savings. The application using the
energy souce of "hot springs" water from nature that is priced by the
Federal government as if it were potable water makes the comparison form
the base case to the proposed case uneconomical but has an energy saving
of 42% from the source energy comparison. The application is the use of
the hot springs water for "Bathhouse" spa water.

Any comments???
