Javed,
The guideline was created to create the chiller plant defined by ASHRAE
90.1 Appendix G which is used for LEED modeling and accepted by USGBC.
This information is located in Appendix G Section G3.1.3.7 through
G3.1.3.10, which if you don't have a copy of Appendix G, it is a
must-have. It basically states for plants greater than 300 tons, you
will have variable speed pumps on the secondary loop instead of the
pumps riding the pump curve. You will also have 2 chillers for plants
>300 tons. This is all stated in the Appendix G document. Hope this

I have found this guideline for Baseline Chiller Plant
Modeling for capacity <300 TR. I just wanted to know is it acceptable by
USGBC? What will be the methodology for Plant >300 TR?
