[Equest-users] Importing Autocad dwg's

I successfully import AutoCad 2006 files, file type is 2004 version,
into eQuest. I have found on occasion with big complex files that
eQuest doesn't handle them that well. It is also hard when a 7" wall
has 5 lines in it to select points in eQuest. I will do a "save as" on
the file, give it a new name, open it and strip all the fluff out or
make a new layer and just trace in the important zones. It makes it
easier when you open the file in eQuest to select the layer you want,
yours, and get to business. You also have the architectural file as
reference for all the constructions. I have seen some files with 60+
layers, all you need is a zone layout.
