Parveen,

I believe something is wrong with your simulation. In my situation-
similar to your case- I had about 40% reduction in energy consumption
with GHX compare to the same system with cooling tower.

Unfortunately I'm very busy now and have no time to go through your
calcs.

Thanks Hassan 

Now I can model it in proper way but when I am comparing results for
with Cooling Tower and Ground Heat Exchanger for heat Rejection I found
Total energy consumption increases with GHX. I want to share results
with all in attached file, mainly chiller energy consumption increases
and pumps decreases. I want to know why pump power decreases with GHX.

First you need to create CW loop (I called it GSHP Water Loop) and then
create Ground Loop Heat Exchanger and select the type as Vertical
Wells-Sweden G-Function (see below) 

 

Then assigning the loop 

 

Then define the configuration of the field,

 

Now you can customize your field data.

Dear all

I am modelling Ground loop heat exchanger in which I am using Ground
loop instead of using cooling tower with chilled water system. I am
trying to model same in eQUEST, as I select Lake/well as Ground loop
heat exchanger type it model correctly with connection to condenser
water loop but as I select vertical well Sweden G function it removes
condenser water loop connection ask to define circulation loop
assignment and also I am not able to connect it to condenser water loop.

I want to know How can we model it in proper way as I know number of
well, material of pipe with dimension?
