[Equest-users] Equest Error - Please Help

Hi Luke,
If you are encountering this error in the wizard mode, I found that this
error typically happens when the building geometry is not correct.
Usually this is the windows either extending past the walls they are
hosted on (into the plenums or over the edges), or if the window area
equals the wall area. If you have walls that you were modelling as
curtain walls, that would be the first place I would head to check.

If you want to send a zipped file including your .pd2 and .inp, I will
take a look at it.

Thanks to everyone for replying! I have looked at the bdl file (no
errors), I have also uninstalled and reinstalled (no difference). I am
running equest on a 64bit machine, so maybe that is the problem. Is
anyone running equest on a 64bit machine successfully?

If this is a new installation I would suggest downloading the software
again and reinstalling.

Subject: [Equest-users] Equest Error - Please Help
Equesters,
I am having a lot of trouble with Equest crashing. When I exit the
wizards after reentering them or when I try to run a parametric
simulation I keep getting the "An invalid argument was encountered"
warning and then it crashes. I tried creating a simple test model and it
was having the same issues.
Apologies for reposting, but I am getting really frustrated with my
models.
If anyone could give me any guidance I would really appreciate it.
