Equest may not be very helpful here. You can
always use EE4 - a simple interface to DOE2.1e
that allows full input in metric and converts to
imperial for running the model. I find that EE4
will give just as accurate an answer a equest for
over 90% of the building simulation problems I face. Get it at:

Note that EE4 generates the Budget Case for the
MNECB but not for ASHRAE 90.1. As with equest,
you will have to create your own Budget case.
