[Equest-users] Maximum number of tracked modifications exceeded

Hi Karen,

I am pretty sure that the "Maximum number of tracked modifications
exceeded" error and simulation abort. Though the error sounds fairly
critical, it is really just an indication that a modification to the
detailed model is causing so many cascading other changes and
re-defaulting that the expression dependency and evaluation mechanism is
unable to keep track of the history of those changes in memory. All
cascading changes however ARE evaluated and posted to BDL (despite this
error message) and we have seen no cases where this error was an
indication that the detailed model was in fact corrupt in some way.

If your model still aborts part way through the simulation, then I
recommend you search through the .SIM output file for any occurrences of
"ERROR" or to the end of the file which may provide an indication of why
the simulation terminated. If this doesn't lead to a solution, then
feel free to forward me your project files (.pd2 & .inp compressed into
a ZIP file) and I will take a look.
